Ziele des Projekts Ladakhpartners

Liebe Freunde und Bekannte
 
Vielen Dank Euch allen die nachgefragt haben und an die betroffenen Menschen in Ladakh denken. Vor allem die Altstadt in Leh und die umliegenden Dörfer sind stark betroffen. Viele Häuser eingestürzt und es fehle an Werkzeugen wie Schaufeln, Besen, Putzkübeln usw. Der Flughafen sei offen, die Strasse Dehli Leh noch zu. Die Armee helfe, komme aber schlecht von Leh in die Dörfer, da die Brücken und Wege verschüttet seien. Ich bekam die Nachricht dass Menschen tot sind die ich kannte, weiss aber noch nicht wer.
 
Unten ist eine neue mail von Sonam Dorje, wo Ihr seht was es in „unserer Region“ braucht. Mit dem Dorf Fotoksar bin ich sehr verbunden. Ich habe selber erlebt, dass Brücken weggeschwemmt waren und Wege weggerutscht. Für die horse-man die mit Pferden und Eseln oft sehr lange Umwege machen müssen ist das schwierig, Spitäler können noch weniger gut erreicht werden usw. Wenn die Bewässerung nicht mehr funktioniert, gibt es noch weniger zu Essen.
 
Wenn jemand Beziehungen hat zu Organisationen usw, die Hilfsgüter schicken würden oder Transportkosten übernehmen bitte melden. Ich schicke Morgen die ersten Pakete Verbandmaterial, eine Kollegin übernimmt das Porto. Ich werde mit Sonam Dorje zusammenarbeiten und versichere Euch, dass das Geld an den richtigen Ort kommt.

Dear Kathi, Maik and friends,

It had been unfortunate for all of us because of cloud burst and heavy rained falls, which effected to the farmers in villages, but as we realize the nature disaster cannot stop.

The public, the farmers and the school students/children from Lingshed Constituency unanimously would like to thank and heartily appreciate you and all of friends and other members of kind concerns, thoughts, ideas and collective efforts for raising financial supports and helping to the flood victims’ beneficiaries and the needed people.

The financial support and donations will be utilized for restoration and renovation under the relief funds for the following damaged properties.

1.      In Lingshed Area villages, Dipling, Zhingchan, Lingshed, Kartse, Skumpata, Gongma, Yulchung and Neraks, the farmers, people, family members, the school children and students are safe, no loss.

2.      But in these villages, the farmers’ crops (barley, peas, wheat, vegetables), land fields, grass lands, water ponds, some animals (donkeys, horses, cows), trees (plantations) and watermills for grinding (Tsampa & flours) and partially houses, stores, rooms, greenhouses and toilets are washed out and damaged by floods.

3.      The schools, residential hostels, medical clinics and Khaltse hostel are quite safe, but the buildings and wall fencings are partially damaged, and these are required to be repaired.

4.      Especially, in Fotoksar village, one house is completely washed out and some houses, crops, land fields and other properties are partially damaged crops, land fields and other properties.

5.      The bridges and roads/foot paths are completely damaged and for transportations of the connectivity are totally cut off in villages, and the people and farmers are facing big problems for transporting and crossing from village to village. So these are more important for immediate restore and repair the bridges, roads, and foot paths for transportation and village connectivity facilities.

6.      The Irrigation Canals (watering canals) for crops fields are washed out and damaged by floods in all villages and these are also required for immediate repair for saving the left crops in the fields. 

The public from Lingshed constituency villages, are requesting and appealing for kind financial help and generous donations for the purpose of restoring and repairing the damaged properties, especially for bridges, footpaths, irrigation canals, houses (fully & partially) for public basic needs and immediate requirements.

The villagers will never forget all your emotionally inspirations and encouragement, and financially supports and cooperation for rebuilding their lives and requirements.

Ziel des Projektes Ladakhpartners ist es, unterstützende Hilfe auf medizinischem Gebiet zu leisten. Die Gesundheitsversorgung wird durch die Amchis, die lokalen Naturärzte sichergestellt. Die Amchis der Transsingela Area haben ihr Wissen seit Generationen mündlich überliefert erhalten. 

Ladakhpartners ermöglicht Amchipatenschaften. Die Naturärzte erhalten die Möglichkeit, sich weiterzubilden. Ihre aktive Mitarbeit am Projekt ist Voraussetzung für die Fortführung der Patenschaft. Ladakhpartners vermittelt auch Patenschaften für Kinder, damit diese die Schule im Tal besuchen können und eine Zukunft haben.  

Ladakhpartners leistet Unterstützungsarbeit. Es ist wichtig, dass der Hauptanteil von den Amchis selbst erbracht und das Erlernte weitergegeben wird. Die Menschen werden nicht abhängig gemacht von der Anwesenheit von Projektmitarbeitenden.
